Instructions for uploading your Household Words articles

  1. You will need to create an account by signing up on the Household Words page.
  2. Download the ‘KS2 Cholera Teacher pack
  3. Read the instructions on page 22 of the pack.
  4. Choose a style to write your article (narrative, Journalistic or summary).
  5. Write your article onto a word document, give it a title (headline) and use spell check.
  6. Highlight and copy the text from your article
  7. Login to your account on the Household Words page
  8. Go to > ‘Click Here to upload your Article’ on the website and paste text into the box on the right of the webpage.
  9. Fill in all the boxes (make sure you DO NOT use your surname).
  10. Submit your article
  11. The website administrator will check your article and add it to the website.
